Sleigh Bells, Marathon Music Works, Nov. 8
This past weekend I was fortunate enough to work on a really incredible project for the band Phantogram. I took BTS stills and video, and I’m excited to share it with you all.
Soon enough. For now, enjoy some pics from my iPhone.
After seeing The Head and the Heart, Noelle and I ran across the street to shoot some photos on an abandoned, crumbling tennis court after a group of kids flipped the lights on to play basketball.
The fall air felt nice, and I was happy to have the chance to snap some quick photos.
Pictured are a couple of my favorite things: The Head and the Heart (playing an impromptu song in the bed of a pick-up) and empty tennis courts.
Not pictured, for either their visceral qualities or the framing of this photo, are some of my other favorite things: friends, a reunion with these friends over good tunes (old and new), catching up with the band after more than a year and a half of growing, meeting strangers (one of whom approached me after recognizing me from the festival I snuck into), nice talks, nice weather, and the beginning of October just hours away from this moment pictured here.
R.I.P. September 2013. It was nice. May your good fortune bode well for the later months of this quick year.
